Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Entitled to: Complete refund minus processing costs

Processing Duration: 5-7 business days

Processing Charge: €50 for credit card payments

Requirements: Must be applied for in writing through email or phone communication

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Entitled to: Half of the total charter expense

Processing Duration: 7-10 business days

Processing Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund amount

Requirements: Cancellation must be legitimate; administrative expenses are considered

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Entitled to: Refunds are not available

Exception: Situations of emergency might be taken into account

Option: Charter credit could be provided at the discretion of the management

Requirements: Proof is necessary for emergency claims

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Safety stands as our utmost priority. If the charter conditions are deemed hazardous by our certified captain, we offer various alternatives:

  • Full Refund: Issued if rescheduling isn't feasible
  • Reschedule: Transfer your charter to an available date without extra charges
  • Charter Credit: A voucher valid for a year from the initial charter

Weather Assessment Process

Our evaluation of weather involves:

  • Analyzing wind magnitude and orientation
  • Wave stature and oceanic conditions
  • Visibility and forecast precipitation
  • Maritime advisories and cautionary notifications
  • Safety assessment from our professional captain

Decision Timeframe: Decisions regarding weather cancellation are made at the latest 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Situations

We understand the unpredictability of medical emergencies. Qualified conditions for special consideration include:

  • Sudden medical conditions or injuries necessitating hospital stays
  • Immediate family bereavements
  • Urgent military deployment or recall
  • Legal obligations such as jury service or court subpoenas
  • Natural disasters impacting travel plans

Required Documentation

The following records are needed to process requests for refunds due to emergencies:

  • Official medical documents or hospital attestations
  • A death certificate if relevant
  • Authorized military instructions
  • Legal summons or jury notifications
  • Emergency proclamations or travel recommendations

Processing: Requests for refunds based on emergencies will be addressed within 3-5 working days after receiving the required documents.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Difficulties

If the vessel allocated to you encounters irreparable mechanical issues:

  • Substitute Ship: We will endeavor to assign a similar substitute
  • Full Refund: Issued when no adequate substitute is found
  • Partial Refund: Provided if the substitute ship features different rates
  • Recompense: Additional compensation may be furnished for inconveniences

Crew Availability Issues

In the uncommon event that certified crew becomes unavailable:

  • Efforts will be made to arrange another crew
  • Full refund if the charter cannot advance
  • Options to reschedule with no additional fees

Method of Refund

All refunds will be reverted via the original payment mode used during reservation:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 working days

A €50 cost for cancellations more than 72 hours before the event

Banking Fees

There's a €25 fee for all bank transfer returned funds

Charter Credits

Issuance of Credits

In specified scenarios, charter credits might be granted as an alternative to refunds:

  • Cancellations at short notice (less than 24 hours)
  • Cancellations due to weather
  • Voluntary alteration requests
  • Operational hiccups

Terms for Credits

  • Validity Period: 12 months from the date of issue
  • Transferability: Non-transferable to other individuals
  • Amount: Equivalent to the full charter cost excluding fees
  • Utilization: Applicable to any upcoming charter
  • Expiry: No extensions beyond the 12-month period

Partial Service Refunds

Disruptions During Service

In the event that your charter is disrupted or ends earlier because of our control:

  • A refund proportional to the unspent time
  • A voucher for your next charter of the same value
  • Complimentary services or improvement

Delays Caused by Guests

If a charter concludes prematurely because of the actions or safety infractions by guests:

  • No rebate for the time remaining
  • The total amount stays payable
  • Possibility of extra charges

Resolution of Disputes

Should you contest a decision on refunds, you may:

  • Demand a reassessment from our management
  • Submit supplementary proof or data

  • Refunds will be managed in €, irrespective of the original payment currency
  • Acquiring travel insurance is fervently encouraged
  • This policy may be amended given a 30-day notice
  • Refunds are subjected to governing taxes and laws
